Warning: This Foot Soak May Cause Extreme Relaxation
After a long day, few things as instantly restorative as soaking your feet. It's one of my favorite rituals to slow down, reset and reconnect with myself before bedtime.
You don't need anything fancy - just a touch of intention. Take an empty shoe box and reimagine it as a mini spa setup ( or treat yourself to a beautiful pedicure bowl for a more spa-like experience.) Fill it with warm water and a generous scoop of your favoritie Epsom Salt. Let it dissolve and breathe in the subtle steam rising up. - this is where your unwind begins.
As you soak for about 20 mintues, notice how your body relaxes. The Epsom salt helps draw out toxins, ease tension, and refresh tired skin. Your feet will feel softer, lighter, and completely renewed.
And if anyone calls while you're in the middle of it. Tell them you're "being held captive by your foot soak" - and loving every minute of it.
Finish by patting dry, applying a nourihsing body oil or foot cream, slipping into cozy soaks. The warmth will help seal in hydration - and you'll drift off to an amzing, peaceful sleep with both your body and mind at ease.
